- 1. How far in advance do I need to book our event?
- The longer you book your reservation in advance, the more choices you will have available for date and time. We recommend at least one or two weeks at a minimum. [Back to top]
- 2. Is a deposit required?
- Yes – a $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reserved date and time. The deposit is subtracted from your final payment the day of the event. [Back to top]
- 3. What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. [Back to top]
- 4. When is the final payment due?
- Final payment is due on the day of the event. Your party host will provide you with a final invoice at the event and collect payment. [Back to top]
- 5. How will I know that my date and time are confirmed?
- You will be contacted to confirm availability for your date and time once we receive your booking request. At that time, we will request a $75 deposit and confirm which package or packages you require. [Back to top]
- 6. How much time is required?
- You should allow for approximately 15 minutes for our party host to setup, one hour of painting, and 15 minutes for our host to clean up. Larger groups may require some additional time. [Back to top]
- 7. What is the minimum number of painters required?
- A minimum of 15 people painting is required. There is no maximum. [Back to top]
- 8. What age children are appropriate?
- We recommend 5 as the minimum age for pottery painting events. [Back to top]
- 9. Can you mix the packages?
- Yes, you can mix packages. Just tell us which ones you want and we will bring an assortment. [Back to top]
- 10. Can we have everyone paint the same type of pottery piece?
- Yes, everyone can paint the same type of piece from one of our packages as long as each person paints their own. Just notify us when confirming your date and time. [Back to top]
- 11. Do you cater food?
- No, we do not cater food. [Back to top]
- 12. How many pottery pieces do you bring?
- We bring some additional pieces of each style in a package. [Back to top]
- 13. What paints and tools do you bring?
- We provide a standard palette of ceramic paints and brushes. No specialty paints or tools are included. [Back to top]
- 14. What do I need to provide?
- We will need access to water and tables and chairs for the painters. We bring the rest. [Back to top]
- 15. Do you do all of the setup and cleanup for the event?
- Yes, the party hostess will do all of the pottery painting setup and clean up for the event. You will need to have the tables and chairs setup in advance of their arrival. [Back to top]
- 16. How do we get our pottery pieces back?
- There are two options available. You can pick up your pottery at our Falls Church store located at 101 N. Maple Ave. in Falls Church, VA or arrange for delivery of your pieces when booking your event for a $15 fee. [Back to top]
- 17. How long does it take to get our pieces back?
- You pieces will be ready for pickup in one week at the Falls Church store. Groups of 100 or more people may require additional time. If you have arranged for delivery ($15 fee applies), they will be delivered to the place of the event in two weeks. [Back to top]
- 18. Should we tip the party host?
- All of our employees are fully compensated. If you feel that you have received superior customer service and wish to provide the host with a tip, you will need to do so with cash or check. Tips cannot be added to your invoice by the host. [Back to top]
